2610 map scale question !

Dear 2610 users I got a problem.......


If I set my map scale to say 120 ft during a route, when the unit shows the next turn detail and then reverts back to the map, the map detail changes to anything from 800ft to 8 miles. Is there a way of setting the unit so that it will stay at 120ft or is there a problem with my unit??

It is bloody annoying and less than useful

I wish I had known that during my Coastal trip. It drove me mad zooming out after every junction. A bit late for me as I had to give the loaner unit back after the trip.
