Morning Folks,
When i was a lad i never understood why my Grandma was frightened of the telephone or "that new fangled thing" as she used to call it.
Well now i'm in her position and that "new fangled thing" is them there computers, but at least i'm having a go,so yet another numpty question.
I have been practicing loading pre planned routes and waypoints into my Garmin 2610 (thanks to Whatton's exellent instruction) what i would like to know is,if i go "off route" and that nice lady tells me she is recalculateing, does it take me back onto the route that i have programmed in or does it take me onto the shortest/Quickest route.

Thanks Steve

If you go off-route (with a complex route planned) she recalculates and ignores all of your careful planning. Best to turn off auto-recalculation and just aim to get back onto the magenta line when this happens. She will then tell you that you are off-route, but will studiously ignore you until you get back on route. :)
