Does anyone make (or have one for sale) a power cable for a 2610 that plugs into the power socket on the headstock. I bought one for my SPIII from Motorrad Concepts but that is not an option now. I could splice the 2 but I would need to know which wire is which.

Also on the 2610 do you have to have the aerial plugged in or will it work without it?
Thanks,
Lloyd.

The power/audio output cable for the 2610 is a Garmin part, 010-10495-02
(or with cradle and lead its thena 010-10495-00) I am unaware of a 3rd party offering due to the moulded shape of the connector that slide along the recess and locates at the rear of the 2610.

The SPIII connector/power lead including 3rd party options (such as BEC01 or CLC01B) is different and its unlikely you'll be able to source a 2610 connector on its own.

Try a PM to "Stumpy", who apparently has a stock - you will however, need to connect the plug/tails onto your existing cable (Solder and heatshrink)

Al :)

I can supply the socket and let you know which wire is which.

If I have time next week I'll post up a step by step guide with pics:thumb
