The 2610 is the business.
I cannot believe how good it is, I've not used it on the bike yet as I am waiting for my Touratech mount to be delivered, so it's car use only at the moment.
I got my power cable from GPS Warehouse and plan to fit it tomorrow. Did you connect it straight to the battery?
Looks like it will be simple enough.
Did you sort out your anntena in the end to boost your signal?
Glad I went for the 2610 in the end, good quality piece of kit that looks and feels solid.

Yes I did the ariel is excellent and has sorted out the sat Sig loss, and for £14.99 with a straight connector and only 1 m of coax its brilliant if you want his contact details it's on this site but I have his ecard let me know.
Yes I fitted the power cable straight to the batt, I bought some battery terminals from halfords and crimped the wires to them, ran the cables under the tank and bingo works a treat.
I was at the MRO last sunday at Silverstone plotted a route on the GPS all back roads and it was great, a real good ride,
Like you I think its a brilliant bit of kit and am now taking it everywhere even if I know where I am going

2610 Video
Hi guys,
RCC45 sent me the video and it arrived the day after I left for SA. (Not his fault at all - top marks to RCC for despatching virtually as soon as he got it).
It was languishing unopened in my mail pile whilst I was away and I watched it last week when I returned.
FWIW, I don't have the 2610 anymore because I accidentally left it in my hired 4x4 at the airport.
Fortunately, the car hire company recovered it and are posting to me soon.
Anyways, I have the video at present so whoevers next on the list please PM me with your postal address and I'll get it off to you.
