2610 uk map...

Just unlocked city nav V8 and loaded all UK and Ireland 18 maps onto my 2610 it only used 172.8 mb the reason i ask this is because i was told i would not be able to fit the whole of the UK on to a 256mb flash card Could anyone with same set up tell my how much memory the uk takes Thanks

that's right, my card shows 170mb used, selecting the maps in mapsource shows 172.8mb, 18 maps and on highest detail

Whoever told you got it wrong, 170 meg is right for UK / Ireland.
