Guys, can these be fixed?

I'm not sure why it packed in, either (a) I bought a duff one that the seller already knew was on it's way out, or (b) the vibes killed it, even though I'd put extra washers on the TT mount.

Any advice appreciated. I may just save up and buy the 2610 and a Ram mount this time..

ISTR that there were two versions of the 2620; the earlier one had a micro HDD and was susceptible to vibration which made it unsuitable for motorcycle use. The later version had flash memory and was more robust.

If you connect the device to your computer, can you interrogate the memory?

Hi, is there a way to tell which version you have? The HD or the MD version? Thanks!
