2720 ans 2820 , spot the difference.

i have chose the 2720 as i will not put music on it (iriver 20GB does that) and i dont need the bluetooth (starcom does that) but the 2720 it will be :thumb

I live in North London and bought from the Navigation Company in Hertford.
They will sell over the counter if you ring up and make an appointment.

Andy,
My 60Cs does not have the route calculation software, the detail in the mapping is very good, and i will keep it for the off road and walking up them mountain trips, but i need a GPS that will do the "turn next left" stuff. i will have both on my bike, sad init :D
Im either going to get the Zumo or the 2720, i did look at the TT rider, but with current cradle issues ill stay away. plus, it wont plug into my starcom.
Andy, do you know of any shops i can drive to in the morning and buy over the counter a 2720 :nenau
Cheers
Nige

Your mouth watering GPS 60CS does offer turn-by-turn capabilities, its the Mapsource City Navigator software you lack that gives it the currently missing mapping.

You could get that mapping (city nav v8) and a 'spare' 2610 for £200 and if you don't register it until v9 is released you'll get a free upgrade too.

Other than that I'd be hanging out for a play and look see over the Zumo.

That having been said you could cruise Tottenham Court Road tomorrow and I'm sure you'll be able to peruse and buy.

GPS Warehouse have closed their showroom but it may be open to viewing and purchasing by appointment, give em a ring :thumb

Cheers Andy, :thumb
Tottenham court road, last time I was there, was when I got banged up in the Tottenham court road nick for being D&D (drunk and disorderly) I was going to see Cathy Dennis in the dominion theatre :D (1987 BTW)
Is it the GPS warehouse that are there?

Nah GPS Warehouse is in Hanworth

GPS Warehouse
Unit 9, The Lion Centre
Hanworth Trading Estate
Hampton Road West
Hanworth
Middlesex
TW13 6DS
GB

Phone:

020 8893 9393

As I said the customer showroom is closed to the public but a phone call beforehand would tell you if a personal visit would be possible or worthwhile. Tottenham Court Road would be more of a lottery but if you can remain in control of your credit card always worth a trawl for a bit of deal.

Though I believe your best prices are likely to be found on-line and I include GPS Warehouse in that http://www.gpsw.co.uk

ive used the garmin 2610 with 2gb memory covering europe for three years.fantastic peice of kit.in most cases you'll never need all the features so i would go on cost.and enjoy finding roads and places maps never will. :thumb
