276C memory cards

As the car kit comes with a 128mb card, which seems a problem for EU tours, seems I will need to go for additional 256mb card(s).

Are these not just a compact flash card ? So can I buy a generic card at generic pricing or have they stitched it up somehow.

I have not done a websearch but it seems likely that the clones maybe around if it is just a clever labelling job.

It is possible to obtain 128 and 256 MB Automotive kits. I got a 256 one from Aspid.

It's a special Garmin card at a special Garmin price and nothing else will do.

Thanks, I will contact them&others. I thought I saw a reference to clones once but cannot recall where.
