I have an active audio mixer that combines several audio signals into one and pipes them to my helmet. I originally had a Garmin Streetpilot 2610 and then I upgraded to the 2720 last year and both worked perfectly fine with this setup.
I recently upgraded again to a 2820 (still have the 2720) and when I use the 2820 the audio clips when voice prompts are given. Besides the audio clipping, the audio level is much more reduced than that of the 2720. It's almost a paradox as the audio level is much lower but the mixer is clipping as if the audio level fed in into it is too high.
I was wondering if anyone had heard of this issue before or had any suggestions or ideas.
Thank you.
