Just got back from an afternoon out in Edinburgh and watched "The 39 Steps" at the Kings Theatre.

The whole show has a cast of just 4 people who are on stage for most of the time. It was funny, full of energy and very entertaining with some very simple and clever use of props.

If you're out and about in the city this week and fancy something light but different give it a go:thumb2

Could ye not manage any more than the 39 :clap

Try a wee bit of 3in1 it might help:thumb

I love the book and the original movie. I didn't know how they could manage it with a cast of 4 but clearly from your crit, you reckon that it worked.

I saw the production at His Majesty's (no not that one) in Aberdeen last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Best to have seen the Robert Donat film first though. And the cast of just 4 (and an arm)? Superb!
