To me it looks better than the 690 enduro which always looked and felt like it was low at the front (I could never get the bars high enough on mine). If it's reliable it should outsell the crf300

I sat in the Enduro R yesterday and it’s quite ok for me at 6’1

Mmmmmm, . Nathan Millyard reckons the Euro 5 fueling is very poor keeps stalling . I guess it may impress with time . Lots of good aspects too

Yup . He doesn’t think the bike is fit for purpose in its current state.


After the 790 chocolate cam debacle you’d think KTM would have learned their lesson .
Hopefully they’ll be proactive and sort the 390 issue rather than arrogantly deny there’s an issue , which , along with other reasons , nearly saw them fold recently, as we all know .
Think my KTM buying days are well and truly over . Shame really as they were a great brand until a few years ago.

Looks a decent green lane or TET bike but still a bit heavy.
I thought the 690 I had was less than 165kg.
Ultimately, I sold my 690 as it was never really happy at low rpm

My 701LR was 182 kgs fully fuelled (so about 162 empty )with 25litres of fuel plus rally tower , racks , huge solid belly pan etc



Fuelling was perfect too.
