3rd unit in a year but hats off to Garmin

Just had my third unit replaced in a year and just to reiterate to all those having similar problems, contact Garmin without hesitation if you can't get a quick fix as their service and turnaround has been first class. Even got the new unit with version 10 mapping, well done Garmin and thank you.

It goes some ways to restoring your faith in the units.:beer:

I hate to trump that but my third unit in 10 months failed last week. Need a replacement fast as I am off to Middle East in 3 weeks!

The units have had very little use.

Each failure has been about power....this time it is not taking a feed from the cradle (any cradle, have tried 3 different vehicles and cradles) but still charges via the transformer.

So my faith definitely needs some heavy-duty restoring!
