42k service (2012 F800GS)

Morning all,

My bike has just hit 42k and my dealer can't service it until late July. This is a bit of a bugger as I'm going to Spa on Thursday. I don't really mind it going over the service interval and I would do the service myself but I don't know what is on the schedule for the 42k (36k was 5 or 6 months ago) and I don't have a manual.

A few questions then:
- is it worth getting the Haynes manual even though it says it's for up to 2011 models?
- anyone happen to know what's in the 42k service schedule?
- I generally get my parts from Motorworks, any better UK based parts suppliers for servicing parts?

Hi, your in luck, just checked my service tracker and the 42 K service is a minor service, oil change and filter. Do it yourself and if you know someone with a GS911, they can reset the service mileage and date reminder.
