Anybody bought one recently? my son keeps pinching mine so with christmas fast approaching could solve both problems.

Have a look on the apple site in the refurb section. I've bought three from there as pressies and each one looks absolutely brand new. I don't think they are refurbs in the traditional sense, just "older" models that don't fit in the current webshop. Go to http://www.apple.com/uk/store and look in the bottom right hand corner.
