Hi Guys,

I lost the micro sd card from my 660 unit while on holiday a few weeks back, :( so I've bought a new one, connected it to the laptop and downloaded 16 routes onto the micro sd card F drive.

The problem is, when I fire the 660 itself up and go to import these routes the 660 can't see them?

Its as if there's nothing on the memory card?? am I doing something wrong, its a 8gb micro sd card, I thought you could store hundreds of routes on these and then import them when needed?

Any ideas?? :nenau

Cheers,

Poucher

The SD card can be a bit random on the 660, sometimes it see's it, other times it doesn't. I always do a master reset if I have changed SD cards as that seems to be the only consistent way I get the Zumo to recognise a new or updated SD card.

Does the 660 work the same as the 550?
If I remember correctly on the 550 you have to create a garmin folder on the card then copy the maps etc to the folder. I think the unit looks for the folder, if no folder then it thinks the card is empty.

They're meant to be in the /Garmin/GPX folder. If it doesn't exist create a Gamin folder and within that a GPX folder.
