Hi does anyone know what difference the three power settings make on the 690 enduro - ie dose the soft option cut delivery of power or BHP

On mine doesn't seem to affect power. On the aggressive setting just seems to make it slightly more difficult to drive smoothly on slippery surfaces. The middle setting is fine for pretty much everything

Isn't it supposed to be lowest setting for off road, middle for day to day, and high for performance?

Thanks for the info guys,

I can confirm that normal setting is a bit lively !!! and spins up a lot on mud slipy stuff etc. especially with TCK's on

Low setting is great when i really wet and muddy but you need t give more umph getting the front light and it feels a bit flat on road - certainly seems to cut power and it feels like half.

Performance setting is similar to normal but the fuelling goes rough unless you hammer it

I dont think it cuts power per se - it just slows the throttle response. Might be wrong on that though...

There is a noticeable difference, as you say, between soft, normal and hard settings. I found the 690 fuelling very good on the two Ive ridden. (that said, the 990's are a bit all over the place - some great, some less than great)
