690 Rallye

Yuk. Must be THE most tasteless colour I've ever seen. Not exactly buyer-friendly or a smart move if you wanna sell.

It's also a fact that KTM uses an undisclosed procedure of preheating the front and rear tanks in the painting process to avoid fuel vapour induced paint bubbling. If paint is not applied properly it will start bubbling and peel off after 3 months...

I'm glad mine has the original orange factory paintwork.

..still no takers. I saw someone did put a bid on at 13K the other week on an earlier listing but it didn't meet reserve.

Anyone know what the cost would be to get it back to genuine KTM orange guaranteed blister-free after 3 months?

I've had my 660 Rallye tanks repainted about 4 months ago and so far no blistering, it cost me £350 the lot - :thumb Or you could buy new for £2K for a set -

Hmmm not cheap! I like the "window" on the tank to let you see how much fuel is in there.

Also like the two Mollsoft's on the tail, I think its spoiled the arse end of the new 450 leaving them off personally.

He is down as Silvrikin Shampoo - That comes in green bottles, he must be either endorsed or high up in that outfit.
