Seriously though, I do fine the seat fine - and have done some long distance tours on the standard one. My advice is to wait and see if you get used to it before changing it.

I had the factory low option seat which is a lilo filled with grit as the bike is already so tall and meant to buy myself an airhawk for long distance work but didn't get around to it
Are airhawks worth the money (probably been done elsewhere...)

I couldn't ride further than about 60 miles on the standard seat. However, I have no problems at all with the Comfort seat, this includes a trip down to the Pyrenees last year.

My mate has the same bike, and has no problems at all with the standard seat. Mind you, he is about 5 stone lighter than me!
