800R with/without silencer

Afternoon all.

A friend of mine is making me a silencer, coupled with a secondhand link pipe from eBay and needs reference pics. So while I'm taking them I thought I'd compare the sound of the bike much like I did with my old 1100GS.

I wish I had the balls to ride it for a bit like that Safe to say it's not like the 1150s where you can run a slash-cut exit to the catalytic converter

Let's hope my mate comes up with something a little more neighbour friendly...

Might as well give it a Catarectomy as well

You need new downpipes for that which I've seen for £300 from Arrow. Otherwise it's a slightly awkward 2-1 join with two bends I think.
