Just realised it's the same weekend as a beer festival in Leicester... and I've booked sleeping bag space on someones floor....

Never mind... the speedway is always an idea for a meet..

Just back from Leicester and cream-crackered after sleeping on someone's couch last night.

Hope to get to see a meeting another time.

I took my lad up. We were impressed for the first 10mins, then it became a little tedious. Fair play to the riders and the skill they showed but give me the TT, Olivers mount or any real roadracing anyday.

Another point, I think I found what the Twockers, smack heads and doleys get upto as a hobby....watch, and get very excited by, speedway
