Not looking for a Swap before some Bright Spark pipes up

My Missus currently has a 1450 HD Dyna but rarely rides it now for whatever reason.
Now she's thinking about maybe getting an Adventure Bike and I'm thinking that maybe a GS800 or 1100 might suit her.
She's 5'10" tall and can handle the HD without issue so what do the knowledgeable Tossers out there recommend as a good, reliable, easy to manage Bike for a Lady?

Better yet, any Ladies out there with a Bike they can recommend?

Many TIA...:thumby:

My wife is looking at the Versys and V-Strom both in 650... She particularly likes the seat/ergonomics on the Kawasaki.

TBH the 650 Versys is a hell of an all-around bike, for the money. If we stop riding 2up I'll be inclined to have a look at one myself.

Someone else mentioned the Versys a while back but I forgot about it TBH.
I might take to try one, see what she thinks

The triumph 800 XC is taller than the F800GS and not as well made, I know as a mate bought one not longer after I bought my first F800GS. The normal F800GS is fairly tall, I'm 6ft with a 31" inside leg and it took a bit of getting used to, but I loved it. Easy to lower if needed.

Test ride one at a dealer.

Mine really liked the F700GS, she's about 5ft 7ins. She quite liked the Tiger as well but the GS was her favourite.

Well if its any use, my other half is about the same height, she has a 1340 FXR an R1100GS which she rides to work every day, and a 900 Triumph Bonnie, and manages well with all of them

Seems like a fair sw .... Er, rumbled.

Have a chat with Ela ("Pumpy" on here and ADVRider).

TBH if Nick Plumb can ride an 1150GS across Wales there's no reason anyone else his size couldn't.
