I have V8 loaded onto my BMW Nav II.

On leaving a French motorway, the 'map' and 'written' instructions shown on the device's screen clearly showed that I should enter the the large roundabout at 6 o'clock and proceed right around to the fourth exit at about eight o'clock.

However, the female voice clearly said, 'Leave the roundabout at the first exit' (near enough straight ahead or 12 o'clock) ie. there was no link between the female voice's instructions and the 'map'.

I ignored the lady's advice and carried on around the roundabout, whereupon she started to correct my apparent error but then cut herself off midstream and rapidly threw in, "Take the next exit", being the correct one shown on the map right from the start.

All of the others using V8 had the same problem.

A month later I went around the same roundabout again and the same thing happened.

It was no big deal and maybe just serves to prove that 'electronic ladies' are no better at map reading than their flesh and blood sisters.
