A crack at the Legends Paris-Dakar

Fellow Northwesters!

I'm heading off 2 weeks today (25th Sept) for a crack at the Heroes Legend Paris-Dakar Rally. I won't lie, I'm absolutely cacking it.

I've decided to raise some coin for Riders for Health and I've set a JustGiving page up.

I'd be proper grateful if you would help me raise some funds and donate whatever you can, I'm aiming at raising £500.00 and just about at 40% of the way there but I need your help.

No worries, enjoy the trip. By the way, I just noticed it was for North Westers. Ye couldna get much more feckin South East than I am ha ha ha.

Plenty of HD video planned and photos - also hearing some documentary chap called David Hoare is covering the rally and a 5 x 1 hour documentary is on the cards?

No, not signed up as far as I can tell - I asked Patsy and she said he was looking definite in the early part of the year but then didn't sign up No final list of racers has been published yet. 28 bikes I hear. Not sure on cars etc.

All my boxes were packed for the truck last night. Tricky getting all the spare parts in and the stuff you're gonna live in

Plenty of video and photos to come. Will post when I get back.

Now riding the bike from home to Paris for the start.
