Yesterday the sun shone (rare this August:D)..................so I fancied a day in God's Own Country:augie

I headed up to Masham and over to Leighton Reservoir, then over Dallowgill Moor......................the heather was in full bloom and spectacular:thumb2

Lucky enough to be out as well in a similar area, we went up to Reeth via Kettlewell, and the scenic route through Horsehouse. Reeth wan't as busy when we stopped for lunch :)

Back home via Castle Bolton, Nateby, Dent railway station and then over the Bowland hills. A Grand Day Out :)
