Just come across this, I assume it's a Brazilian Himalayan review, as I cannot understand a word, but shows what a capable bike it is in the right hands :)

I go out occasionally with a guy on a Himalayan 411 in the Peaks as a part of a group of Himalayans. He is an ex motocrosser from years gone by and I'll be buggered if I can keep up with him despite having a lot more power.

Enjoyed both the videos.
Both riders are obviously very capable off road riders.
Also liked the praise given to the standard issue tyres, which are very cheap to replace.

I have found nothing wrong with the CEAT tyres.
I also think they are good. Never had any problem with mine and ride well on road too. Always surprised when people ask what tyres to replace them with - why not just put another set of the same on ?!

The old Himi is a great off road bike. It's not about power, it's about torque in the right place.

And is also a very comfortable bike to bimble around the country lanes on, and take in the environment.
Unfortunately, my height and leg length and that step up for the pillion made it just the opposite for me. That and the lack of lanes or any places to offroad up here. I now have a 450 which is fine.

We went out for a day with Superior Motorcycle Experiences in Dorset, who were linked to Moto Corsa, riding Himalayas off road. My brother, also a former motocrosser was hugely impressed with how capable and fun the bike was. He and one instructor shot off into the distance while the rest of us and the other instructor bimbled along some distance behind them. A good day was had by all. I much preferred the 410 to the 450 I tried later. The 450 was just another competent bike whereas the 410 was unique. Given the choice, I'd have a 410.

It is indeed impressive. Do you suspect he is on standard suspension? It seems to handle his enthusiastic riding very well.

I too did a day with Superior, what a great ride out and day it was, sad about them packing in.
