Great Andalusia base camp for Morocco & they rent 1200 GS Adventure !!!
Found the place by chance on the web, and I was not disappointed .
Renting the bike with Carlo & Ronald was an incredible plus.
- It spared me the icy winter roads thru Belgium, France and Spain (When else do you want to go in Morocco, if not winter or early spring ?). Just had to fly to the new Malaga low-cost monster terminal 30 km from Casa Don Carlos. And they picked me up there
- They rent like new 1200 GS Adventure, fully equipped with original BMW aluminium boxes and GPS. Bikes are taken care of by the local BMW dealer, and in Casa Don Carlos itself by a british expert and former officer of the police force. You just have to fill the boxes, cross the straits and here you are in Africa the same day.
- The bill for the Adventure ended up 35 % cheaper than in Marrakesh, and on top you get a European rock-solid insurance coverage. Carlo & Ronald provide all the necessary papers to enter & exit Morocco at no extra cost.
This not to mention the lodging, the food, the wine, the attentive care of the owners, the 360° gorgeous views and the great sky of Andalucia. I was delighted to start with them, and equally happy to finish there my 10 day - 1,500 miles trip to the Atlases.
I'll be again at Casa Don Carlos next winter and hope to meet you there !
