A over nighter in Scotland

Well about 25 miles above Dumfries .
i know i nice hotel that we will need to book up ,
leave Junction 23 M6 at 9am ride most of the day with stops to take in views and plenty of time to come of the motorway and do some A & B roads so we break the ride up a little and ride at a relaxing pace, targeting getting there fore 6 ish and on the Sunday coming back a different route via parts of YORKSHIRE again breaking up motorway riding.

So if your up it .. we might even see some snow on the HILLS

a date you can not come...
looking at July time or even August now..i'd have gone in March.

but May's booked up
June looking rather full.. so it's july or August.
i'd like to do two nights and go far west towards the islands and maybe even book something up like we did in the lakes last year in sept.. with a bigger group..
but i'm up for a nice weekend away even if it's only one night

i've got wales this weekend 3 days laning,
A nice little tour taking in a nice Loop 9 countrys in May,
JOG to Lands END in JUNE, IN one day...you coming??. Simon
away with the other half in JULY , the MED some where nice, plus doing doing North to south wales in 2/3 days on the green lanes..... 10- 12 hours riding.
trying to leave August open
but away in spain in september green laning ( i think dry brown laning"}
Octember another 3 dayer in south wales laning, to kick the seaon of again .. yippy
