Just had a few days of cracking riding, a mate was due to come up for a week and we'd planned to do the best bits of the NC500 and a few other day trips, sadly said mate's family circumstances changed (wife has laryngitis and there's young children to consider :-( ), so we've had to postpone until the summer. Well, with time on my hands and a desire to hunt out a nice B&B in one of two places, I thought I'd go and conduct a short recce.
Weather was forecasted to be cr*p but it turned out to be lovely - bit chilly but it is March! - result = recce conducted, B&Bs noted and one tried (Borgie Lodge Hotel in Skerray - just right!), a thoroughly enjoyable solo ride and so good I thought I'd ping some photos on here to show how lovely the place I live is (well, it's practically on the doorstep anyway).
