A Sunday Afternoon bimble around South Lincolnshire

Since the foreacst fo tomorrow seems dire - I took off this afternoon for a Sunday afternoon bimble around South Lincolnshire.

Now I know you all will say "Lincolnshire is the fens - Flat and boring"

Well here are a few photos from which you can make up your own mind

I went to Bourne home of Raymond Mays

Here is the memorial to him in Bourne

A bit of history for those you cannot immediately place Raymond Mays!

Then I went to Sleaford where I found Cogglesford Mill

And here was the miller!

Down the road a bit I found some of these

Then I found two of these!!

Then I saw this

Finally I stopped here

Total mileage just 70 miles round trip!!
