Kenny, there's a little private fishing place just a short walk away that does food. I look fwd to my annual fry-up when I get my GS serviced. There's an off-road racing distributor next door to Roy's & an old VW restorer too.
Plenty to do & see while you're waiting.
cheers terry

I am looking forward to them getting up and running properly . Judging by the standard of the HD/Buell showroom and the attitude of Paul and the his oppo in there I am sure they will do a nice job and its a great location for a lot of riders.
The HD showroom appears to have been a success. The last time I dropped in they were very busy and they have a lot of stock in there with good staffing levels too.
Whats the latest deadline fro completioin Rudie or are you not at liberty to say.
ok update
got the new bit fitted today not plastic metal !! so not aproblemo very very reasonable and good chat as well
he is a top guy and would recommend RGM to anyone
he goes the extra mile to help good old fashioned service
I do the same - It's worth it and Roy doesn't even seem to mind when you stand there asking what he's doing! I quite enjoy popping down the pup for a shandy and pub meal; read the paper, do the crossword, wander back and bother roy while servicing the GS. Great! Reminds me - I'm due for a service so need to give him a call.
My bike 1200 RT has been in Chester having the gearbox seals and clutch done on a 'goodwill' basis. It has been there for 5 weeks up to now. I have no gripe with Paul as he is doing the best he can under the curcumstances but come on B um W - only one tech for all the work that needs doing
I know that it takes training for the job but its a 'dealer network' FFS
