A397 to Ronda in Spain

I have a gopro video of it from my trip there in may. I need to beat my lazy feckwit son to upload it for me. But as stated above that video from the car is not the road in question.

Great road but to much traffic. Two motorbike cops from Gib on a day off ride out got killed this year on the same road , enjoy it but ride with extra care.

I once saw a petrol tanker go off the edge of this road.......and it didn't blow up, and the driver survived!!!

You are staying about four minutes by car from my place. I'm on the El Paraiso golf course. Was the road surface to Casares damaging the carbon rims ?

Surface to Casares was the worst of any road I've seen in Europe !

Amen to that. Went up last summer on a Saturday, I think that was a mistake. A fair bit of traffic there.

Two incidents in the space of five minutes- one sports bike rider in a group tightly packed missed his turn coming the other way.. I took evasive action and he missed me by inches. Shortly after some nobber on a cruiser came around on the wrong side of the road.

As has been said would suggest one of those roads you do very much at a quiet time..

I'm not there at the moment, I'm heading over again there in the next two weeks on business. Can't wait. Got a call from Malaga to tell me that they were having 30 'c heat . If you have the time head up to Zahara de la Sierra just beyond Ronda. Then cycle to Grazalema.
