FYI if you're out for a wee hurl of an evening
Scotland TranServ, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland , is carry out resurfacing work on a section of the A83 between Lochgilphead and Inverary as follows:
• A83 Birdfield (30th May 2010 until 11th June 2010.)
• A83 Minard (30th May 2010 until 11th June 2010.)
• A83 Duncholgan (6th June 2010 until 18th June 2010)
• A83 Dalchenna point (13th June 2010 until 25th June 2010)
The road will be closed between Lochgilphead and Inverary for five nights a week (Sunday night to Friday morning), from 20:00 to 06:00 hours. At all other times there will be no restrictions to normal traffic movements.
The diversion route is via the A816, A85 and the A819.
Between the nights of the 6th and 11th of June, three closures are expected to be in place (Minard, Birdfield & Duncholgan).
Scotland TranServ has promised every effort will be made to minimise disruption to local residents travelling to and from their properties
