I'll be down at Hill End campsite, West end of the Gower from Thurs PM till Sunday. How many mins is Abercraf from there? I have been but only from the North. Do you meet at the Abercraf or the Copper Beech?

Not sure where Hill End is, but if it's at the far end of Gower, then I should allow 45 - 60 mins to get to Abercrave

What route will you be taking from the upper boat roundabout to Abercraf, will you be going up the A470 or going up the Rhondda Valley and over the Rhigos mountain.

Hi, I posted a new thread instead of replying to this one ! So this one should be in the right place !
I am up for meeting the group at Upper Boat at 7pm, but was wondering if we should book a table. Last time I went in April we didn't get a table til late as the BMW School was there. Anyone else think we should book, or should we see how it goes ?

thansk to pw and ian for the ride there and back and the company , a very pleasant evening, just got to clean the bike off now!

Thanks to everybody who turned up, there must have been about 25 to 30 people there in all, spread about the Inn.
As this is gaining a little momentum for the summer I'll try and keep it a regular monthly thing.
It was unfortunate that we became a little spread out due to lack of room so as a sugestion next month i'd like to propose we try and estimate the numbers in attendance and book the dining area for say 19.45 hrs to eat but arriving at 19.30 hrs.
That will give everybody a chance to mingle and talk bollox after we have eaten.

Sounds like a good idea to me Paul. Just as long as they are willing to accomodate a few "unbooked" arrivals. Good turn out & nice to see some more new faces. Just gets a little difficult trying to talk to everyone - yes, even with my big gob
Thanks to everyone for helping to make it a great evening out. I think the idea of trying to book in advance is a good one. Hope to meet you all again next time. A special invite to Duncan and Jane, but next time they must come on the bike.
