About to fit an Intaride 803 to my RT, any advice or want me to show what I've done

That's interesting, so have you fitted an additional power socket plus power for your radio ?

This is the Y harness and extra socket

The original accessory socket is still in place, and the new one (both fed from original power ) is in the tail.

The new socket feeds the Powerlet Y harness, so I actually end up with two standard 12v car type sockets.

One of these is the Intaride for the radio, and the other is the USB for the Intaride Bluetooth dongle.

I believe you can use a wired PTT with this Bluetooth adapter to ! How does that work ? I'm taking it the bird connects to the two pins on the radio , so where do the wired PTT go ?

Is is working ok now set up any issues ?

The BIRD has a small connector that accepts a wired PTT.

I have one of Intaride's PTT, but don't find it is in the right place to allow my hand to be comfy.

An antenna or aerial is an electromagnetic device used to convert an electrical signal into electromagnetic waves and back again. Arial is what you wash your clothes with.

Could you expand on how the wiring on the accessory socket works please ? I'm taking it the single end connects to the socket itself , where do the other too connect into to ? I would like to power my pmr and adapter under the seat. I'm taking it they become live when the ignition is on and dead when it's off ? There fore not draining the battery

Sure,

I believe some of the larger K series bikes have two 12v BMW/Hella outlets.

The Y harness I mentioned is used on these bikes, if you get one on an RT, you can also get an extra 12v BMW/Hella outlet, and plug both this and the existing one into the loom, so giving you the original external and the new internal outlet.

PM me if you need a phone number and we can chat.

Thanks Wobble, I think i get where your coming from with the explanation. I have ordered an accessory from Nipppy Norms that connects to the Battery direct which has a car style cigarette lighter on, This will allow me to connect a battery eliminator to my PMR and charge it will I'm using.
I only need one of these connections so that one i have ordered will suffice.

Thanks again though
