I am in the process of rebuilding a crash damaged R1150GS 2003 model.
Today I put some power to the bike just to see if it would turn over and what sort of idiot lights came up on the dash. I got the following and would be grateful for some words of wisdom from those in the know.
1. The RID is showing the bike to be in 4th gear when it is actually in neutral. When I change gear the indication goes out.
forgot to look for a neutral light
2. The abs light is flashing quickly with the lower light on steady.
The state of play with the bike at the moment is front wheel off and calipers and ABS sensor zip tied to the frame. I also have no pulley and ignition rotor fitted as well.
The good news is it turned over on the starter.
Any thoughts or should I just put it all back together before sticking the battery back in.
