Thinking of an ABSectomy on my 05 1150GS.

I'm assuming that I can remove the wheel speed sensors after re-running the brake lines and removing the ABS unit

How can the speedo drive be unaffected when I remove the wheel speed sensors or have I misunderstood?

(I know that I have to swap the brake light switches & also rewire the tail light)

Thanks,
Mark

isn't the speedo drive mechanical on an 1150?

maybe i'm thinking of another bike :eek

Ahh, yes, looking at a pic of my bike I can see that you're right and I've won the idiot of the day award.

Thanks very much, Mark

You'll have to leave the speed sensor in your FD housing (or fabricate a plug to replace it).

you dont HAVE to leave it in, you can take it out if you want your just left with a big hole for stuff to come out and crap to go in ;-)

I think that warrants the "HAVE". :rob
