ABS elimination

hello all !
new here with my first question :
rebuilding my 1100gs 95' .
came across the ABS unit and thought - that heavy !
looking for some tips about bypasses , and short circuiting (if needed).

Remove said unit & pipes then re pipe as per non abs if abs light is still on remove bulbs which will save even more weight

I'm not really trying to reduce weight.
Merely trying to simplify the machine..
