For info, have experienced the following:-
worn pads and worn disc results in intermittent ABS failure - , rear servo noise constant, red triangle and text flashing at 4 Hz on dash and speedo to 0mph
when fault occurs, front servo/brakes OK, but different feel (a little more harsh)
Ignition off/on resets and new disc/pads problem goes away
