I went out on the bike on Sunday for a run. On the way back I fitted the tom tom on to the touratech mount (first time I've tried it). I asked for a route home and then started to follow the tom tom. I had only just turned the first corner when the tom tom went blank and the ABS light came up at the same time!! I stopped and switched off the ignition then switched it on again, it went through the prestart sequence and the ABS light went off as normal after I started moving but the tom tom was not working ? I did not want to muck about so knowing the route just rode back. I did not fit the touratech mount but I assume that the ABS warning light coming on had something to do with it and the tom tom? The tom tom is working off the bike but not had a chance to try it again on the bike. Any idea why this would happen?

What are you powering the tom tom from?
I think the touratech mount was fittted by BMW and its hard wired into the bike. I am not really up to speed with the wiring on the bike but I think it was done by the workshop at Bearn Motos. It fired up when I mounted it but as I turned the first corner it went blank and the ABS started to flash.
I will have another try tomorrow, I only wanted to see if it worked and that seems to be in question, although its probabley just a bad contact

there is a plug under the headlamp for the satnav power, if you do a search you will find a lot of info.
