ABS or not 2 ABS

I have a 1100 GS with ABS and am now considering upgrading to a 1150 GS but a lot of the ones that I see advertised dont have ABS and advertise the fact that it is a prefered option.
Having ridden my 1100 with ABS I would prefer to keep with ABS however I would like to hear your comments & suggestions of the for & against
your comments & suggestions please.

If you search the forum for ABS you will find scores of posts on this subject with arguments for and against having it.

Just to stir things up again: I would say it is a definite must, nothing like knowing you can grab an emergency handfull of brake in the wet without locking the front.

Others will disagree, wait for it

but rather never use it but know its there for the lapsed moments!!
