Those of you with long memories and even longer anoraks may recall that in August 03 I posted a request for help with an abs problem. Thanks to all who offered advice but the problem remained and I lived with it.
Basically the abs would activate when I was applying the brakes when creeping along. eg in slow moving traffic.
Southport Superbikes couldn't find a problem and told me that everything was OK. As I rode away guess what happened!!
Finally got fed up with it and went off to Alan Jefferies and hey presto! they found the problem!
The rear abs sensor ring had lost a tooth hence the actvation on slowing down.
New ring - no problems. Cured.
