ABS sensor damaged. Can I still use it?

Hello,

I have installed rear ABS sensor without realising I have lost 1 shim. Sensor ring obviously scratched the sensor.

- Can I still use it?

- How to measure what shim size do i require?

Just put 0.5 filler gauge between sensor and abs ring then use correct size gauge with shims on other side to see what size you need

By the way if sensor scratched just plastic no damage to core should be ok

Looks the same as mine after final drive bearing went, still works fine with the same shims as before...
