Hi there, how can you tell if 1150gsa if fitted with ABS, I have seen 2 bike, one has abs the other didn’t so i was told by the owners but I could not see the difference there was no abs warning light, just brake failure light.
Should it have pickups like a car?:nenau

You should see the black ABS sensor on the left fork leg, and the serrated ABS ring in the center of the brake disc on the same side.

Lights!

When you start the bike, two big alarm-like red lights should blink friendly at you from the dash. When you take off and reach 5 km/h there should be a audiable "clank" and the lights should go out.

...and battery

....and if your battery is not up to it's former glory, when you start the bike and take off, the lights do NOT go out (the ABS system refuses to engage if your battery isn't in ship-shape - the system is electric and they take no chances).

Not if it's a servo braked bike - you'll have two lights flashing (one slow, other fast, i think, can't remember exactly at the moment:rob) ,then one will go out until you reach 3 KPH,then the other will go out. .

do they all have an ABS button on the handlebar switchgear?
