Are they just really crap on the road??

Been out today in the dry and they were truly awful on the road

Is it me or are the tyres all like that on the road

I stopped using AC10s years ago.

Mitas Co2 rear
Michelin enduro comp front in the berg and its ok up to 70 but I try to be smooth on Tarmac so it doesn't push the front in corners.
Different game in the wet.....just terrifying :D

It was more the rear when cranked over

The knobs would grip or slide indeterminately and this would load or unload the rear shock - scary

Pressure - 20 odd psi

That's fine as long as it ends up gripping:D
Also the suspension may be shite.
Guess your asking because the tyres are new ?

I've run them on and off over the years. I got used to them in the dry, no problem really - wet was a a bit more hairy!

I put up with them though as they work so well on a lot of the trails around here, especially in the winter.

I hadn't ridden the bike for a while, shock seemed fine (dry - no fluid) & well damped
Tyre is 60 % worn
Felt more tyre than suspension ?
May fit new tyres as I've never liked the ac10's wet or dry

I hate them with a passion mate, swapped them out for a Mitas CO2 and C19 - :thumb

AC10's fitted on my Serow & not that impressed
Great for mud and soft ground, not so grippy on wet rocky stuff
Not had a problem on tarmac but they do feel a bit spongy on corners - takes a while to get used to every time I take the bike out
Next time I'll be fitting Mitas or Heidenau's :thumb
