Access to oxygen sensor cable under tank?

Hi All,

I want to get access to the O2 sensor where it connects to the wiring loom under the tank. Is it possible to just undo the tank bolts & slide the tank back rather than having to disconnect everything & take the tank off? Is there enough slack in the lines/cables?

I should qualify my original post by saying that the bike is relatively new to me & I've not had cause to take the tank off so far. Didn't want to sound like a total div...

Be warned then as you are new that if your bike misbehaves when you refit the tank to check your throttles are completely back on their stops

Sometimes they come up from the holder and one throttle is held open

I presume this is not a GSA? if it is, then I'm pretty sure you would have to undo the lower balance fuel line.
