Hi folks

Son is about to take delivery of a new 1250 GSA and asking me what are commonly recommended extras to fit from you guys on here.

Anyone care to suggest anything and where’s best to buy such items.

TIA

Jim

Hi Jim,

The bike is great standard but there are lots of bits that imho improve the experience and trinkets that you put on it just because you want to. I am trading my 1250 in and will have a few bits up for sale in the next few days.

Exhaust / taller screen / sat Nav / toolbox / rad & frame guards / louder horn etc are all relatively practical. Can also add fancy footrests / levers etc.

google 'A Bike Thing'. Plenty there to spend serious money on.

His videos on YouTube will help.

It might already have one if it's a second hand bike, otherwise if its new he will probably want a fender extender for the front mudguard

Also a mud sling for the rear end

Cylinder head protction is a personal choice, the GSA comes with engine crash bars. I went belt and braces and fitted Machineart X-head covers as well.

TFT anti theft bracket

Cockpit noise cancelling plate

brilliant stuff Jersey GS. I’ll pass it on to him. Thank you!

Jim

As per @Jersey_GS plus a front engine cover of some description

I've got a hex ezecan on mine to power the additional horn (soundbomb mini) and a 2 chanel bike cam from Ali express.

If he rides in winter handguard extensions are useful

There's loads of stuff he could add!

Thanks Bigcats.

He’s just left us to go home so have passed it on. Great stuff
