Accommodation in Rabat

Anybody have a recommendation for hotel accommodation in Rabat. Need to stay ther a few nights to get visas.

the ibis in rabat is fine. dont remember whether or not they have secure parking. if full they recommend a nearby hotel very nice. underground secure parking, sorry cannot remember the name

There are loads of Hotels in Rabat, but they're all quite expensive and I gave up on it......

Try over the river in Sale- there are some cheaper hotels in the Jewish quarter but I couldn't get the landy+ trailer in there so I couldn't give you exact details I'm afraid.

The camp site is gone BTW- bulldozed down three or four months ago which is a shame 'cos it was spot on and well used by travellers
