five of us are off to France in early October heading in the general direction of the Central Massif or Ardeche area. Any recomendations accomodation greatly appreciated ?

very biker friendly hotel in Joyeuse ?? Sorry can't be more specific but was there about 8 years ago but its a good base . Unsure if town spelling is correct.
Area is fantastic with some brilliant roads

I've stopped at 'Les Cedres' in Joyeuse a number of times but not very recently. Good value half board & well located for touring the area.
Just returned from a weeks stay here - http://ridersrest.net/ fabulous food facilities & roads.

+1 for Ridersrest. Good clean accommodation, good grub, knowledgable and friendly hosts, free beer and wine.
