Ace Cafe Sunday 15th June

Well,i had a good day today.Rode to the Ace with a Mate and spent an enjoyable couple of hours or so talking rubbish with Lo-Iq,The Bede, TJ, Bakerman,Fanum,Pink,brianmaslen and a few more,whose names escape me.
Highlight was probably watching a little Classic MV firing up and leaving. A cool sight made better when Bede noticed the "L" Plates on the rear of the bike !!
Looking forward to more meetings with anyone daft enough to reveal their location.

Really enjoyed the BMW day at Ace, and I wonder if anyone can help -was amazed to see the bike and lady in the photo below, but didn't get the chance to speak to her, about her 3 year trip around the world...

Does anyone know her name, and I wonder if there is a website about her trip- she seems a pretty amazing lady, and wonder how she fared on her journey. Makes my planned trip to Romania seem like a mere trip to Tesco's by comparison. Respect

Much enjoyed the trip to the Ace yesterday and the company and hope to make more trips and ride outs in the future. The highlight for me was hearing the two guys with the MV Agustas told to "move that Italian crap up to the end of the car park" where they belong, this is parking for BM's only today. It may have been tongue in cheek but somehow I don't think the two guys took it that way!

It was indeed her Ash..!
I spoke to her for some time and boy has she got some stories.
Sunday was her first day on the bike since undergoing major surgery
on her wrist so a big effort from her that day I think.
Very plucky lady...

By the way, nice to meet you Bakerman and Fanum...!

Hi Ash, thanks for the info and link - I've read some of it ( there's quite a lot), and just amazed, There's a lady who's just gone out and "done it" -hope I might get a chance to meet her sometime, and ask her what kept her going, what kept her motivated etc. Just amazing !
