Noddy mate I've come up against a slight problem (Sgt's mess Childrens Xmas party for my lad) But I'm as we speak Im in nagotiations to get out of it.
Ill see what the decision is on Sat pm and let you know how successful I'am.
It would be nice to meet some GsERS for the first time. So Im going to "TRY" to use up some good will points to get a leave pass

Putting a face to it.
Too far North, how parochial?
I used to commute to Hull, so Ace Cafe is a stroll in the park.
I need to run my new engine in, so count me in.
I can either come up the A120 and meet at the M11 Stansted services (what eta?) or do you go in another way?
As I've only been to the Ace as part of an Italian V's ride out, what do you do once watered and nose bagg'd?

The 52 magic is working, Im putting her off the whole idea with the old Chestnut "He's too old at 11 for a panto/ xmas party" routine so fingers crossed

52, your time with the children is much more important than any bike meet will ever be.
Go and do it pal, 11 is a very important age, they gain a lot of information/opinions at that age, and the fact that his Dads there for him will influence him for the rest of his life.

I will probably need fuel by then. So a quick cup of tea and go, I would like to get to the Ace for 10-1030 and eat.
Usual form at the Ace seems to be food then talk.

Is the TESCO on the A14 ? or at Histon ?
I know the big TESCO at BAR HILL which is close is this the one you mean.
